Patients who underwent surgery for their primary lung cancer and were found to harbor an EGFR mutation (mainly in exon 19 and/or 21), had a clear benefit in terms of DFS if their tumors possessed nuclear P-s207 LysRS, in contrast to those without nuclear P-s207 LysRS, with a mean DFS of 66.9 months vs. 48 months respectively (p = 0.005) (Figure 4D). The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is lung cancer.
