Based on the documented role of dysregulated Notch signaling in colon cancer [10, 11], the reported role for ADAM17 in the proteolytic cleavage of Notch family receptor and ligand molecules with effects on Notch pathway signaling [12, 13], and the ability of MEDI3622 to directly inhibit a Notch luciferase assay (Supplementary Figure 4), we evaluated gene expression levels of a subset of genes encoding Notch pathway factors. The gene discussed is ADAM17; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
