Higher BMI (OR 1.125; 95% CI 1.039–1.219, P = 0.004), albumin concentration (OR 0.453; 95% CI 0.253–0.812, P = 0.008), and transfusion amount (OR 2.125; 95% CI 1.028–4.392, P = 0.042) were also independently associated with the occurrence of postoperative AKI. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and acute kidney injury.
