TFF3 and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome: Further investigations on the possible role of TFF1 and changes in specific mucins in cases of rhonchopathy and OSA, as well as the influence of TFF3 on mucus rheology and surface tension of normal mucus and OSA cases will be of great interest in terms of obtaining deeper insight into the pathophysiological processes that occur in OSA as well as the development of new treatment options.
