We used the mouse neuroblastoma cell line, Neuro‐2a (N2a), stably expressing under the control of a tetracycline‐regulated promoter full‐length (441 residues) human tau (hTau40, which indicates tau protein with 2N and 4R domains (2N4R‐tau)) as wild‐type (WT) or with mutations A152T or P301L (Khlistunova et al., 2006). The gene discussed is MAPT; the disease is neuroblastoma.
