The results indicated that SHCBP1 expression was significantly correlated with tumor size (P = 0.003), phosphor-Smad2 (P = 0.017) or phosphor-Smad3 expression (P = 0.022), FNCLCC grade (P = 0.003), UICC stage (P = 0.000), recurrence (P = 0.024) and distant metastasis (P = 0.000), whereas there was no significant correlation between SHCBP1 expression and the age (P = 0.453), the gender of the SS patient (P = 0.655) as well as pathologic type (P = 0.246) (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene SHCBP1 and neoplasm.
