Compared with those in the placebo/control groups, the patients with T2DM who received resveratrol supplementation achieved low insulin levels (−0.64 pmol/L; 95% CI: −0.95, −0.32; p < 0.0001), systolic blood pressure (−0.58 mmHg; 95% CI: −0.86, −0.30; p < 0.0001), and diastolic blood pressure (−0.43 mmHg; 95% CI: −0.70, −0.15; p < 0.003) after treatment.
