Adult wild-type mice are not naturally susceptible to experimental infection with ZIKV.45 Recently, we developed a lethal mouse model of ZIKV infection using C57BL/6 mice deficient in IFN-α/β and γ receptors, named AG6 mice, which were successfully used in the establishment of a DENV infection mouse model.46 In this study, we used this model to assess whether neutralizing mAbs could protect against ZIKV infection in vivo.
