Although univariate analysis revealed that in patients with type I endometrial cancer, the lymph node status (P<0.016), FIGO stage (P <0.025), the concentrations of IL-8 (P <0.009) and CA125 (P <0.030) were associated with shorter overall survival, multivariate analysis showed that only the concentration of IL-8 (P <0.026; HR: 4.253; 95% CI: 2.975–5.531) had an independent prognostic value for OS. Here, CXCL8 is linked to endometrial cancer.
