NFE2L2 and carcinoma: Previous studies demonstrated that Nrf2 immunoreactivity was frequently detected in various human malignancies, such as intrahepatic chorangiocellular [32], endometrial [33], breast [36], gastric [35, 37], ovarian [38], lung [39], pancreatic [40] and gallbladder [41] carcinomas, and its rate of immunopositivity ranged between 26% and 76% in these studies.
