Both the pRb-E2F1 and the YAP/TAZ-TEAD4 pathways are deregulated in TNBC and, since GTSE1 expression levels are higher in the most aggressive and invasive breast cancer subtypes, this lead us to speculate that these two pathways could cooperate to promote GTSE1 up-regulation, in combination with other genes. Here, GTSE1 is linked to invasive breast carcinoma.
