Some studies on EOC, SCCC and NSCLC found miR-100 was significantly decreased in cancer tissues in comparison to healthy people, which appeared that low miR-100 was a poor prognostic biomarker by targeting PLK1 in patients [9, 11, 13, 14, 19, 42] and some researches in HCC, CRC and ESCC hold the similar view [11, 12, 17, 43-45]. This evidence concerns the gene PLK1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
