lncRNA GAS5 was previously identified to be down-regulated and functions as a tumor suppressor gene in many kinds of cancers, including breast cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer, glioma, hepatocellular carcinoma, cervical cancer, pleural mesothelioma and so on [8-17]. This evidence concerns the gene GAS5 and cervical carcinoma.
