In multivariate logistic regression analyses, age > 40 years, AFP > 10 ng/mL, liver cirrhosis, HBeAg negativity, and the additional N-glycosylation mutations [OR, 2.831; 95% CI, 1.157−6.929; P = 0.023] were independent risk factors for the occurrence of HCC in HBsAg/anti-HBs coexistent patients (Table 4).
