Figure 2D–I displays two cases of invasive breast cancer where HUGL-1 appears completely released in the cytoplasm (Fig. 2D,G), YAP (Fig. 2E,H) and c-MYC (Fig. 2F,I) stain the most part of cell nuclei, and Cas3 stains a number of fibroblasts and other stromal cells at the tumour boundaries (Fig. 2F,I, arrowheads i.s.). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is breast cancer.
