Twenty of the 27 common genes have published data presenting that these genes were associated with breast cancer (Supplementary Materials Table S3), but seven genes (DUSP10, GABRA6, GABRR1, KIF21B, KLHL24, MAP2K2, and SLC10A1) might be passenger genes or have not yet been studied regarding their pathological roles in breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene MAP2K2 and breast carcinoma.
