LOX and liver disorder: Among these eicosanoids, prostaglandins, leukotriene E4 (LTE4), thromboxane 2 (TXB2), hydroxyl octadecadienoic acids (HODEs), and most hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acids (HETEs), which are in lipoxygenase (LOX) and cyclooxygenase (COX) pathways, were significantly increased in liver disease groups as compared with healthy group.
