Previously, we demonstrated that baicalin could protect lung damage caused by MCT, inhibit the pulmonary artery pressure, reduce right ventricular hypertrophy, and attenuate pulmonary vascular remodeling, the mechanism was through inhibition of NF-κB signaling pathway related anti-inflammatory response [13], however, the further signal path mechanism is unclear. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and Right ventricular hypertrophy.
