It has been known that the secreted IL-8 from tumor cells binding to two cell-surface G protein-coupled receptors, termed CXCR1 and CXCR2, promoted activation of JAK/STAT3 signaling pathway and nuclear translocation of STAT3.35 Our data provided the evidence that IL-8 in the tumor microenvironment activated the positive feedback loop through JAK/STAT3 signaling and increased the expression of IL-8 in HT-29 CM-induced NECs. The gene discussed is CXCR2; the disease is neoplasm.
