Further decreased levels of p-Akt at Ser473 and Thr308, p-mTOR at Ser2448 and Ser2481, p-S6 at Ser235/236 and Ser240/244, and p-4EBP1 at Thr37/46 were observed in K562 cells exposed to propofol and imatinib combination compared to propofol or imatinib alone (Fig. 3b), suggesting that the combinatory effects of imatinib and propofol in CML are likely due to the further inhibition on Akt-mTOR pathway.
