Interestingly, Liu and Bodmer, 2006 [40] reported the presence of the 378C>G mutation in the colorectal cancer cell line CC20 as well as the detection of p53 protein by antibody DO-1 (the same antibody used in this study); however, it is not clear whether the truncated protein of 125 aa or a full-length protein was detected there. Here, TP53 is linked to colorectal cancer.
