Confirmatory analyses using additional available data15, 56 showed that RP11-115D19.1 was induced in human fibroblasts treated with the DNA damaging agent doxorubicin and reduced in response to TP53 siRNA in breast cancer cells exposed to ionizing radiation, although levels were low in these cells (Supplementary Fig. 8). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is breast carcinoma.
