Authors found evidence for an association of hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase 15-(NAD) (HPGD), phospholipase A2 group VI (PLA2G6), and transient receptor potential vanilloid 3 (TRPV3) with increased risk for CRC, while prostaglandin E receptor 2 (PTGER2) was associated with lower CRC risk. This evidence concerns the gene TRPV3 and colorectal carcinoma.
