In vasoproliferative ocular diseases such proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR), retinal vein occlusion (RVO), and wet-age related macular degeneration (AMD), an important therapeutic target is vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the form of intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF agents1,2.
