PTEN and cancer: These observations are in agreement with previous studies associating subtypes of ETS negative cancers with CHD1 (5q21.1) [23,51,52], FOXA1 (14q13.3-q21) [51], 2q21.3-q22.1 [23], 6q14.3-q15 [23,53], and 13q14.13 deletions [23] and ETS positive cancers with PTEN deletion [18,23,54] (Fisher’s exact test, p = 0.08).
