MYC and breast cancer: In Du145 cells, the overexpression of HAPTOV1 also associated to significantly increased levels of stemness genes LIN28A, ALDH1A1 and MYC, whereas in PC3 cells it associated to a significant expression of LIN28A, MYC, NANOG and POU5F1 genes (Figure 3C), in agreement with reports in breast cancer cells [16].
