The GEMINI III study evaluated the use of Vedolizumab in patients with moderate-severely active CD who had previously failed treatment with at least one anti-TNF-α treatment and determined that Vedolizumab was not significantly more effective than placebo at inducing remission by Week 6; however, by Week 10, a significantly detectable efficacy over placebo was observed [109].
