In mice with hyperuricemia, no significant changes were observed in the levels of GSH-Px, SOD, MDA, and NO in serum and kidney (P > 0.05, F = 0.01 to 1.76; Table 3); in contrast, extremely high levels of these four factors were noted in liver tissue (P < 0.05, F = 5.13 to 27.88; Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene SOD1 and hyperuricemia.
