Evidence from other studies indicates that ANXA3 plays an important role in cancer, and might be a bio-marker and possible drug target for neoplastic breast cell, blockade of ANXA3/JNK signaling pathway provides a therapeutic target for hepatocellular carcinoma (Wu et al., 2013; Pan et al., 2015; Tong et al., 2015; Zeidan et al., 2015), and some reports indicate that ANXA3 is a biomarker of some cancers (Kollermann et al., 2008; Leman and Getzenberg, 2009; Liu et al., 2009). This evidence concerns the gene MAPK8 and cancer.
