We found that the addition of Th17 cytokines, IL-17 and IL-22, to the N/TERT-HEEs most closely resembled psoriasis skin: presence of parakeratosis, lack of a stratum granulosum (and thus low levels of FLG and LOR), and induced levels of hBD2 and SKALP (Fig. 4G). The gene discussed is TERT; the disease is psoriasis.
