KLRK1 and Crohn disease: Two new clinical studies with the anti-NKG2D biologic have been initiated; a phase IIb investigating the safety and efficacy of the drug in participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease including 450 patients for 22 weeks with subcutaneous doses up to 400 mg induction and 200 mg every four weeks [109], and a safety study in healthy Japanese and Caucasian male participants also testing tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics following subcutaneous drug injections [110].
