Likewise, we found downregulated signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT1 and STAT2), nuclear factors of activated T-cells (NFATC1, NFATC2, and NFATC3), and nuclear factor kappa B subunit 1 (NFKB1) to be associated with AD conditions, all of which are pro-inflammatory regulators associated with microglia-mediated immune response.
