[93] reported that the dietary plumbagin inhibits the growth of both primary and castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) in Pten-knockout mice through the inhibition of PKC, Stat3, AKT and EMT markers (vimentin and slug), which are linked to the induction and progression of PCa. Here, AKT1 is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
