Since phosphorylation of cofilin is an end target for RhoA pathways (Rex et al., 2009; Briz et al., 2015), we have analyzed p-cofilin levels as a neuronal plasticity marker, in mice showing memory impairments in the WRAM, well-performing mice and well-performing mice receiving proBDNF infusions in the hippocampus. Here, CFL1 is linked to memory impairment.
