The underlying mechanism for FAEW against oxidative stress may be related to multiple compounds, which bound to KEAP1-NRF2 protein-protein interaction sites and leaded to the release of NRF2 from KEAP1 and NRF2 translocation to the nucleus, implying FAEW might be clinically active against psychiatric diseases through its strong anti-oxidative effect. Here, KEAP1 is linked to psychiatric disorder.
