In this cohort, which comprised 142,412 patients, average values were as follows: age, 64.8 ± 12.3 years; dialysis duration, 7 [4–12] years; female patients, 39.1%; BMI, 21.1 ± 3.5; comorbidity of cardiovascular diseases (CVD), including coronary artery disease, stroke, and limb amputation, 21.8%; albumin, 3.7 ± 0.4 g/dL; and hemoglobin, 10.4 ± 1.2 g/dL.
