In the DLBCL cell lines, the expression of NF-κB components (IKKα, IKKβ, p65, p-p65, p50 and p-IκBα) was more highly upregulated in SU-DHL-2 cells than in SU-DHL-4 cells (Supplementary Figure S12b), indicating that NF-κB was constitutively activated in SU-DHL-2 cells.24 Overall, these results support the idea that the different sensitivity of NHL cells to DHI treatment depends on their respective NF-κB activity. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
