The axillary lymph node metastases and the serum concentrations of CA125 > 21.99 u/ml, CA153 > 25.42 u/ml, ALP > 100.5 u/l and hemoglobin <49 g/l were identified to be the risk factors for bone metastases in patients with breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene MUC16 and breast carcinoma.
