Integrator complex subunit 6 (INTS6), which was previously known as the gene encoding deleted in cancer cells 1 (DICE1) (OMIM 604331), was identified to localize with the microsatellite marker D13S284 in 13q14.3, a region frequently affected by allelic deletion in many solid tumours, such as prostate carcinoma, cervical carcinoma and oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma [12–14]. This evidence concerns the gene INTS6 and cervical carcinoma.
