We found that the immunohistochemical subtypes were associated with the therapeutic effect of taxanes for metastatic breast cancer (clinical benefit rate and median TTP, 51.6% and 8.3 months in luminal; 78.6% and 14.1 months in luminal-HER2; 71.9% and 10.6 months in HER2; and 40.8% and 4.2 months in triple negative, p<0.001). Here, ERBB2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
