AMFR and melanoma: AMF-AMFR signaling in melanoma cells plays a possible role in cytoskeleton rearrangement by activation of small GTPase; it also increases the formation of stress fibers with activation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) isoforms and GTPases Rac1 and RhoA, while no significant change in Cdc42 was observed (Tsutsumi et al., 2002).
