Yang et al reported that, in a cohort of patients with MDS, CMML, AML treated with epigenetic therapy, PD-L1, PD-L2, PD-1 and CTLA4 expression was up-regulated and patients resistant to therapy had higher PD-1 and CTLA4 expression compared to patients who responded to therapy. This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1LG2 and acute myeloid leukemia.
