To confirm and extend the results of the western blot analyses, we treated the ERp29 overexpressed or knockdown GC cells with PI3K/Akt inhibitor LY294002, GSK inhibitor CHIR99021 and allosteric mTOR inhibitor rapamycin respectively, then measured the effect of such pharmacological inhibition on the GC cell migration and invasion. Here, AKT1 is linked to gastric cancer.
