CDK1 and cancer: Moreover, we found that KCTD12 bound to CDC25B and that CDC25B knockdown significantly abrogated the effects of KCTD12 on CDK1 and the malignant phenotype in cancer cells (Figure 4), suggesting that KCTD12 may interact with both CDK1 and CDC25B to form a complex and thus play an important role in cell cycle regulation and cancer development.
