Rather, we found reactivities toward several proteins from the MAGE-A—MAGE-B family that are expressed in melanoma and other tumor types but which in normal tissues are expressed only in the testis; reactivities toward GAGE1 and GAGE7B, which are members of another X-chromosome linked, CT-A family; and reactivities toward SPAG8 and SPAG16 (Figure 2D).
