CRP and intervertebral disk degenerative disorder: While frequently used diagnostic tools were comparable in IDD and LSS with MRI, X-ray, CT, and CRP most referred to, the main focal points in MRI readings were contrasting: Whereas KMDs tended to focus on the degree of intervertebral disc displacement, the degree of nerve compression, and correlation between the level of disc displacement on MRI and clinical symptoms in IDD patients, the degree of nerve compression and diameter/area of the spinal canal were purported to be the most relevant in LSS.
