The addition of CRP to peri-implant tissue culture improved accuracy of individual diagnosis of CRP for all the types of PJI this being especially significant in late PJI [early 0.791 to 0.852, (p = 0.06); delayed 0.849 to 0.892, (p = 0.07); and late 0.735 to 0.826, (p < 0.0001)]. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is juvenile polyposis syndrome.
