CRP and Sepsis: As expected, body temperature, creatinine, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), white blood cells (WBC), C-reactive protein (CRP), pH, lactate, glucose, lactate dehydrogenase, serum glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT), serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) (p<0.001) and K+ (p=0.043) levels are higher in the sepsis group compared to the controls.
