A univariate analysis showed the MASA score (≤169) (p = 0.001) to be a significant risk factor for the recurrence of pneumonia within 30 days, in addition to cerebrovascular disease (p = 0.032), dementia (p = 0.028), inappropriate initial antibiotics (p = 0.034), and serum albumin ≤3.0 g/dl (p = 0.023) (Supplmental Table 2). The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is susceptibility to pneumonia measurement.
