CLEC1B and gastric neoplasm: CLEC2 is a non-classical C-type lectin-like receptor, which is expressed on platelet and hematopoietic cells.22, 23 CLEC2 localization in epithelial cells has been rarely reported.24 Interestingly, the recent study by Wang et al.25 showed that CLEC2 is present in normal gastric mucosa but is downregulated in gastric tumors.
